Sea Quester Farms

On a range as wild as the ocean, and growing kelp that shares title with cattle, theres an argument to be had on wether they are farmers...or wranglers. "Wrangling" bull kelp is a term apropoe to the job that they have committed to for the last 2 of 3 seasons. With the aid of grant funding and spirits compelled by the unknown, Sea Quester Farms is developing and testing a myriad of arrays and seeding methods to achieve the large phenotype cultivation of this unique herd of ocean bovine.  In 2024 they successfully grew wild-type plants on 2 different array types. Challenges galore, they are tuning their design and methods to achieve greater feasibility goals. They partner with NOAA  and UAF to host research studies, and monitor site and and habitat conditions as they go and are eager to engage with interested minds from al sectors, experience be dammed.
